Why do we only sell and recommend Genesis Heat-Set paints? Only Genesis paints are proven not to flake off over time or cause other unsightly color transformations. Oils and acrylics do not bond with the vinyl like heat-set paints and because of this the paint may bleed or even flake off as the doll ages. With Genesis the paint is actually cooked right into the vinyl and becomes part of the doll permanently! When properly applied the paint will last the lifetime of the doll. You spend hours making your baby beautiful, why would you use anything less than the best? Certified Non-Toxic Genesis® Artist Colors are certified nontoxic and conform to ASTM D-4236. They are certified in a program of toxicological evaluation by a medical expert to contain no material in sufficient quantities to be toxic or injurious to humans or to cause acute or chronic health problems. Drying: Bake all Authentic Reborn paints at 265° Fahrenheit or 130° Celsius. Suggested bake time is 8 minutes.
